can i just…. leave the tails in the amigurumi with out weaving them?

i’m working on my first amigurumi, a little sushi kit with all the essentials. i’m also working on learning to read written patterns, so i know i’m making a few mistakes. that said, it just makes the finished product look weird when i weave the tails in because it tightens and misshapes the round.
