I never understand why people are always so willing to throw other people’s fandoms under the bus like this. Why fewer X-Men? It’s not a zero sum affair. Me getting fewer X-Men doesn’t get you more Avengers. I don’t care about the Avengers one bit, but I hope you get all the characters you want. They can do both. I can tell you that, from the perspective of an X-Men fan, this line has felt pretty barren for years. We had a hot-streak for a year or two around 2019 and 2020, but it has been dry for a while.
For instance, last year had 105 releases. Here are some stats:
X-Men comic figures/sets: 17Deadpool/X-Men movie figures: 6X-Men cartoon figures: 6
Avengers comic figures/sets: 11Avengers-related comic figures: 16Avengers movie figures: 5
My numbers above lump the entire Wolverine anniversary line, the Venompool figure, Ka-Zar, and two figures from the Strange Tales wave (Bloodstorm and Hellverine) into the X-Men stats. Conversely, I didn’t include anything Spider-Man-related, anything from the Strange Tales wave, Astonishing Wolverine, or any characters I wasn’t absolutely sure were Avengers-related (like Namorita, Crystar, and Red Widow) in with the Avengers stats, and many of the figures I called Avengers-related are probably actually just Avengers figures. I just know people often take exception to characters from Thor or Iron Man solo titles being called “Avengers figures”, so I erred on the side of caution. Most of that category are primary Avengers members in looks that I couldn’t 100% for sure say were part of Avengers runs, with a few being characters like Odin who are more closely associated with only a single member of the team.
Looks like you’re eating at least as well as I am (probably better, as movie and cartoon figures don’t really do anything for me, and that accounts for a huge percentage of last year’s X-Men), but it’s all a matter of perspective. When the comparatively few figures related to your corner of the universe aren’t characters or looks you’re as attached to, it definitely feels like less attention is being paid to you.
Weirdworld was one of my favorite things from the last decade. All the Aaron haters really missed out. And del Mundos art art Insane!!!

Did someone say weirdworld……..I LOVE WEIRDWORLD. I was so happy they even did a warbow (he is way undersized tho), but if they can do an arkon too, I would be shocked, just so obscure. And throw in Moltar, as we already have warbow and crystar.
As sick, in general, as I am of Iron Men, I really like the Mysterium armor and the current look.
I’ll use Warbow for a Weirdworld set up. And hope they make Magma Men and Arkon at some point.

Yeah I mean the 2 I don’t care about are Wolvie and Iron Man, but I’d probably be happier with Wolvie coming with the BAF piece, if I had to take one or the other, I’m not particularily interested in either though, On the other hand Warbow is one of my fav figures in this wave, I might be crazy but I want him even more then Phantom Rider (who is a high want), I mean this wave is all about WBN for me, Honestly I don’t really care about another Enchantress , the one we have is fine enough (but let’s be honest they can do better and I’d happily take it), in reality I’d be more pleased if she was in a different outfit,
But I need an Executioner!!!!!!!!! , although I would have giggled with glee a bit if the BAF was Banshee the horse.
