Have Gargantos comin in on Wednesday!!
I scored 2 Psylockes out the gate form target.com. I was lucky. One is in my main sentential display, the other my Jim Less Blue- gold display. I wanted to like the figure more honestly. Like I like it a lot but don’t love it. I kind of hate how unsecure the effects are. I dislike the head sculps (though they are accurate to source material). I put Uncanny X-men #275 three pack head on my Jim Lee display and LOVE it way more. Skin tones are off but not much to care. Always thought that head sculp was the best Psylocke and my opinion hasn’t changed on that. I did score some loose Mafex effects and removed her fist and have one Psy-blade on each figure. Very happy with this upgrade despite them release a much better version in package. Also her… hind quarters is ridiculous. Like way out proportion. Looks great in the squatting pose form the game but any other pose or just standing there is distracting in bad ways.
That said, the Wolverine is a piece of art. I hesitated ordering two of them and so glad I did. For me it is the BEST wolverine ever made. Top to bottom. I have zero complaints other than I am trapped with two silver samurai’s (whose effect I hoped to repurpose but cant seem to) and that I want a 3rd for my Second Genesis display but don’t want to pay for it again. Best claws ever. I get complaints about his size but she moves and poses like art. Smooth fantastic art. Again one lives in my Blue/Gold Jim Lee Display and one in my main sentinel display in a fastball special pose (we need a new bigger more possible CLASSIC colossus- not just an Astonishing one- honestly sell me a fastball special two pack with this wolverine and a new classic colossus and I am sold). My two 97’s Wolverines have been sent to the second Genesis team and the original 92′ team displays.
I think beside the Thanos/Psylocke? I think I’ve been looking forward to this cap and blue venom the most. I still am excited for the Wolverine don’t get me wrong. But I like Blue Venom and this cap looks badass. They finally gave him butterfly joints, something even secret wars cap lacks. I’ve seen some suggest the chainmail is why they’ve been unable to make a Cap with butterfly joints until now? But those MCU cap figures don’t often have chainmail and we didn’t get butterfly’s there either to my knowledge.
Also Gargantos I feel customizers are going to have a lot of fun with.

I think out of all the Gamerverse 2 packs, the War Machine/ Omega Red is the one I am the least interested in.
I found a Psylocke/ Thanos at a Target, so I have that one, and I have Cap/Venom on preorder.
Initially I was going to try and get the Wolverines/ Silver Samurai set, but I ended getting the 97 Wolverine reissue recently and I am ok with that one. I do still like the looks of the 2 pack Wolverine though.
Going to pass on Juggernaut and Shuma, unless I run into the Shuma at a good deal somewhere.
Just preordered the Wolverine/Silver Samurai gamerverse two pack from BBTS. I didn’t think I’d get it, but the wolverine from here is starting to grow on me.
was debating on the Omega Red/Warmachine but I preordered it.

My Thanos/Psylocke 2-pack is officially on its way and I couldn’t be more stoked. This is definitely one of the figures I’m most excited for. Very anxious to see what they will be revealing at Comic Con!
In that pic Cap looks really chunky, as if they fully sculpted new body to fit in with MVC aesthetics but that probably (and sadly) just a an angle of the pic that makes figure looks thicker.
