With a few exceptions (Phoenix Jean), Hasbro has been knocking head sculpts out of the park for a few years. That SHIELD Hydra pack had amazing heads that I use on a variety of figures (imperial officers and Legends). I’m also really impressed with FF4 Sue Storm (even if it doesn’t look like the actress, it looks great), the Warbirds, Savage Land Rogue, and Shanna.
Yes agree 100% the FF4 Sue looks great, though not a true likeness for Vanessa Kirby. Maybe its because she often has her hair behind an ear? I don’t know but the face on that figure is great. The face on the Sharon Carter is, too….it does NOT look to me like “Sharon Carter” (which I know, doesn’t make a lot of sense when you realize multiple artists drew her over the years and none looked “the same”); I could see that on a Moonstone or Enchantress figure though.

I would be more of a collector of the female figs if they would JUST do them ACCURATELY. It is so aggravating to see them do wonderful, INCREDIBLE faces for them, but then just plotz on the rest. Then there’s the scaling….all over the place, not just what with how the comics themselves describe them, but in comparison to the male figs…..a good number of them just look ridiculous. The team though usually does an great job with those faces though….that Psylock from the 2 pack, the scowl on Zarda, first appearance Wasp (even though she should have looked a bit “softer”, after all she was very young when she first appeared), and the 3 heads from the SHIELD/Hydra pack….outstanding.

Not 100% female only, though my Legends collection is very heavily tilted toward them.
But in the case of these two packs, I’m not alone in preferring the lady component. Psylocke (obviously) was much more heavily valued. Rogue and Shanna blow away Sauron in the SDCC three pack. Jean and Rogue are going to be a lot more valued in the ’97 two packs than Gambit and Cyclops.
I’m pretty sure Gorgon is going to be hard to sell on eBay, while Medusa will consume most of the MSRP of the set. But we will see. To be honest, I’d love to be wrong. I’d love to recoup 50% or more of the value of the set by selling him. But that hasn’t happened for me since Renew Your Vows Spidey way outpaced Spinneret (who is a gorgeous figure by the way).

Fair Enough, I mean I have a dedicated Ladies of marvel shelf, they are my most collected element of Legends, next to Symbiotes, but I’m almost a female legend completist.
True about those packs, but I’m not so fully sure, I mean Sauron likely was because of a BAF, and Thanos because we already have that Thanos essentially, Um also that Jean is an improvement on a very important look for her, although Scott as well so don’t figure that one, In case of Rogue and Remy, um that Gambit is hot sweaty doo doo, so that tracks.
I’m sure you’ll get money for Gorgon, he is a very important character for Inhumans, I’ve noticed a lot of people wait for the vast majority of team members to be made before dipping into team building when it comes to lesser known teams that seem like Hasbud might not ever complete, but once they do people get on board.

LoL I never really paid much attention to that, but that seems like it tracks, Jscott might only solely collect the ladies?
this correct @jscottt991?

Kinda thought this was cool. My calendar page yesterday when ordering Gorgon/Madusa.

Yeah Medusa you say!, it’s all about Gorgon, never before done, integral for the Inhumans Family, this will be Medusa #3 , I mean I bought this for both, but had this been a Medusa & Black Bolts 2 pack I’d have probably passed, I do love the Medusa and always in the market for a female figure, but it’s Gorgon here for me and I would have imagined that be most’s opinions, kinda shocked someone would be more persuaded by Medusa.
Goes to show it’s all preferential, and it’s all warranted.

I bought it for Medusa. The other guy is going to end up in the unsellable garbage pile with Cyclops, Gambit, Thanos, Mace Windu, etc.
One day Hasbro will make two packs with two figures people actually want. Someday . . .

Interesting. That’s the opposite that I expect from most. I already have a couple of Medusa Legends figures and this one will almost certainly replace those, but I probably wouldn’t have bought this just for her. Gorgon is a first time in the line character and almost certainly a Top 5 figure of the year candidate for me personally. He looks a little too big, but I’d take that over him being too small. It’s always fascinating to me how other collectors view different characters, especially when it’s different than I do. We’ve all got different tastes!
I hope your tastes match eBay’s tastes, but I somehow doubt it.
Everyone told me that people wanted the Cyclops/Jean pack for Cyclops. Ha!
