Disney to Launch Infinity Vision Premium Moviegoing Experience
At CinemaCon, Walt Disney Studios announced Infinity Vision, a new certification for premium large format (PLF) theaters developed in collaboration with international theatrical exhibition partners. Infinity Vision serves as an indicator for audiences of auditoriums delivering superior cinematic experiences through exceptional scale, brightness, and immersion.

The Infinity Vision certification establishes a high standard for theatrical presentation, qualifying auditoriums that adhere to stringent technical requirements. These standards include expansive screens for enhanced visual impact, laser projection technology ensuring optimum brightness and clarity, and advanced audio formats designed for immersive sound.

With more than 75 domestic and 300 global exhibitor PLFs accessible to moviegoers, Infinity Vision aims to enable audiences to easily identify venues offering the highest quality theatrical experience. Theaters adopting Infinity Vision branding will display it both online and on-site, simplifying the process for audiences to locate certified screens when purchasing tickets. The initiative will debut with the September re-release of Marvel Studios Avengers: Endgame, followed by the December release of Marvel Studios Avengers: Doomsday.

It should be noted that Avengers: Doomsday premieres on the same day as Warner Bros.’ Dune: Part III. As it has been previously reported, Dune: Part III will have an exclusive IMAX engagement for three weeks.
