American Girl might be turning 40 this year, but its stories are truly timeless. To prove it, the brand is teaming up with kid-favorite toys for a mini makeover.
The brand’s parent company, Mattel, is launching super-cute crossovers that combine historic American Girl characters with two iconic doll formats: Fisher-Price Little People and Polly Pocket. With adorable styling and collectible charm, these mini mash-ups inspire families to smile, celebrate, and share the beloved characters with the next generation of American Girls. The playsets and mini-figures are available now in-store and online.

Speaking of books, the Polly Pocket x American Girl Compacts had a truly novel idea — transforming the dolls’ storybooks into adorable, foldable micro-playsets. The set includes three special-edition compacts, one for Kirsten, Samantha, and Josefina. Fans can crack open the cover to reveal a micro version of each character and her bedroom setup, complete with unique details from their stories, like furniture, cozy blankets, and their favorite furry friends. You can clip each micro-doll to the compact with charms inspired by the iconic American Girl boxes, then attach the entire playset to your keyring for a little girl power on the go.
