Kids Can Soar to New Race Tracks in Nintendo’s ‘Kirby Air Riders’

Kids can race to the finish line and soar to new gaming heights with Nintendo’s upcoming Kirby video game. If families missed Game Director Masahiro Sakurai’s Kirby Air Riders direct presentation, they can still learn about the exciting new features and returning modes this action game offers.

Inspired by the 2003 Kirby Air Ride title made for the Nintendo GameCube system this video game boosts new features for new and returning players. Kids will experience unique riding techniques, new Air Ride machines, boost charges, special moves, and more. Kirby Air Riders levels the playing field by allowing all riders the ability to copy an enemy’s capabilities by inhaling or capturing.

For parents who loved the original Kirby game, Kirby Air Ride will feature returning game modes, such as City Trial mode. Now located on the floating island Skyah, this mode allows players to upgrade their rides by finding power-ups, attacking opponents, and swapping to other machines. City Trial also includes random Field Events throughout the phase, such as Short Race and Dustup Derby.

For more racing adventures, families can access Air Ride Mode, in which up to six riders can compete to cross the finish line first. New racers can also enter Lessons to learn the basics of the game and test more advanced gameplay mechanics.

Families can start their engines and take flight when Kirby Air Riders launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 20. Players can find additional Kirby titles by visiting nintendo.com
