Families can now bring one of the sweetest stories ever told to life, brick by brick.
The LEGO Group is teaming up with Warner Bros. for a candy-coated kit inspired by the classic 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. This building kit takes families on a float down the chocolate river, complete with familiar faces, interactive details, and treats galore. Launching Sept. 18, parents can share the magic of the movie with their kids and build memories that last longer than an everlasting gobstopper.

This colorful 2,025-piece display adds a touch of whimsy to the LEGO Ideas line with authentic details from the film, like candy cane trees, lollipop plants, the Wonkatania boat, Wonka’s secret office, and a chocolate waterfall that flows with the turn of a dial. Families can recreate their favorite scenes with nine minifigures, including Willy Wonka, two Oompa Loompas, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, and all the other Golden Ticket winners. If Augustus Gloop wanders too close to the river, don’t worry! The set includes a swappable face for him, covered in scrumptious chocolate.
The LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory will launch Sept. 18 for $219.99, but there’s a sweet surprise in store! LEGO Insiders get a golden ticket for early access, starting as early as Sept. 15.
