A new Chogokin – Metal Gear Rex from Tamashii Nations is now up for pre-order in Japan directly from Bandai. This version of the Metal Gear mech is from the original Metal Gear Solid. The 7″ tall Metal Gear Rex includes some light up features (batteries are included), and a mix of plastic and diecast metal parts. This is a general release, so pre-orders should go up at additional retailers.
Metal Gear Rex is priced at ¥36,3000 (about $247 USD). It’s scheduled for release in February 2026. Check out some new photos below.
