The beloved Toniebox audio player is getting an upgrade! Launching this fall, the Toniebox 2 will feature tons of new adventures for listeners of all ages, from interactive games for older kids to toddler-friendly Tonie figures, with the same safe, screen-free fun families know and love.
Not only does the Toniebox 2 introduce a new wave of colors to the collection, but it also takes the magic beyond storytelling and into kids’ everyday routines. The system now includes smart Sleep Timers and Sunrise Alarms to encourage better sleep habits, allowing kids to practice independence while building their confidence. Meanwhile, parents can rest easy knowing they can easily adjust settings and monitor usage remotely with the refreshed Tonies app.

The display also includes a rainbow Light Ring, which illuminates to guide kids through the all-new Tonieplay games. Audio prompts guide players through adventures with their favorite characters, like PAW Patrol, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Winnie the Pooh, Disney classics, and Tonies’ Lalalinos. The redesign introduces rounded corners and an even squishier siding, as well as the first line of Tonies figures specifically geared towards little listeners. Titled My First Tonies, these soft, squeezable characters encourage early imaginations with real-world sounds, age-appropriate songs, and toddler-friendly tales. The initial collection includes three trios of Tonies: Farm, Travel, and Jungle.
Families can purchase the Toniebox 2 on its own for $139.99, or conveniently bundled with games, controllers, or Tonies starting at $159.99. If you aren’t ready to retire your Toniebox 1, don’t worry! My First Tonies and other new accessories will be fully compatible with the original player, so families can join the excitement without sacrificing sustainability.
Toniebox 2 is available for preorder now at Walmart and us.tonies.com. Families can bring the entire collection home as early as Sept. 15 by shopping in-store at FAO Schwarz in New York. Otherwise, the Toniebox 2, Tonieplay games, and My First Tonies will officially launch online Oct. 5.
