Chuck E. Cheese welcomes the Deaf community with new surprises for National Deaf Awareness Month. From exciting events to fun-tastic fundraisers, kids can experience the joys of play in an accessible and inclusive way.
National Deaf Awareness Month aims to increase awareness of Deaf issues, individuals, and culture. This year, Chuck E. Cheese and the American Society for Deaf Children are contributing to Deaf awareness with their second national fundraising campaign. Throughout September, families can contribute to the “Round It Up” fundraiser at the register in-store or online at chuckecheese.com/order.
Families can find new ways to celebrate World Deaf Day by stopping at their nearest Chuck E. Cheese location on Sept. 28. On this day, the company will donate 20% of sales when guests present a special fundraising voucher. Families can find the voucher at chuckecheese.com/asdcvoucher.
Deaf kids and those with sensory differences can participate in Chuck E. Cheese’s Sensory Sensitive Sundays event on Sept. 7. This event provides a quieter, more comfortable experience with dimmed lighting, reduced noise levels, and a calming atmosphere. Available at select locations, Sensory Sensitive Sundays will help strengthen social bonds, boost confidence, and ease the back-to-school transition.
