Fans of the mobile app, Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket, will soon encounter new booster packs, called Deluxe Pack: ex.
Starting Sept. 29 and running until Oct. 29, kids will be able to open packs from sets previously encountered in the game, from the Genetic Apex set to the Wisdom of Sea and Sky set, and the booster packs will include all four-diamond rarity cards released in previous booster packs.
Each pack will come with four cards, one of which will be a guaranteed four-diamond rarity or higher, offering players the chance to collect highly sought-after cards they may have missed with previous releases. Certain cards from previous collections will also be released with new illustrations, with some featuring a new parallel foil design for collectors to find.
During the one-month release period, there will also be several events for families to enjoy, including a Raichu ex Drop Event (Oct. 5-15), a Bonus Week mission event where players can earn more rewards, such as pack hourglasses (Oct. 11-18), a Wonder Pick Event where players can try their luck to find the legendary Pokémon Shaymin and Dark-Type Pokémon Absol promo cards (Oct. 12-22), and a Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak Event, where kids can find the unique cards in rare and bonus picks (Oct. 22-28). Players will also be able to complete in-game missions to earn shop tickets and other items.
