Fans of both Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Iron Man and His Awesome Friends can soon watch a special crossover on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
The upcoming special will focus on familiar animated faces from the Marvel universe, like the Hulk, Captain America, Black Panther, and Ms. Marvel, as they join forces with Spidey and Iron Man to stop the evil schemes of Ultron and the Green Goblin. The opening song, “Team Up!” is written and performed by Patrick Stump, who also wrote the opening theme to Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Parents may recognize the voice behind the song, as Stump is also a leading member of the band Fall Out Boy.
Kids who love both shows can prepare for the special with Hasbro’s latest set of action figures. The set includes Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, the Hulk, Ultron, and the Green Goblin. The figures are now available exclusively on Amazon, just in time for kids to receive them before the special airs.
The Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up! special will air on Disney Jr. and the Disney Channel on Oct. 16, and on Disney+ the following day, so fans won’t have to wait too long to get before joining the team.
