I would even take a two pack- human beast and that late 70s blue beast. Reissue Jim lee or save that that for another wave or time. I am concerned about the new rumored astonishing colossus not being quite right for the Jim Lee or Second Genesis eras.
I too have the original what was it ’93(?) toy biz beast. Hes next to my old 90s black bird. Said it once Ill say it before want a black bird haslab. Just don’t lock a new updated beast behind that pay wall…

I agree on X-factor multiple man. Id love to see some updates but I would take a reissue or better yet a $79.99 3 pack of just him with 6 heads sculpts. Its sort of like the MCU outriders… put them in a multi pack and charge me once if we’re going to army builders anyway. Same if they ever update the hellfire guards. Just make a 3 pack. Hasbro ought to love that, one mold sold three times for the same price as a multi pack? … Talk about pure profit on the other two figures minus materials.

I completely agree. I feel we are missing an X-Factor late 70’s Avengers style Beast. But I do love that Jim Lee Style retro card. I would 100% prefer your suggestion., however practically what is Hasbro likely to do? I just want another beast or two for different teams and not have to pay $120 (I paid $105 for my first plus shipping). This is the path of least resistance which I am 100% willing to accept, though I love the idea of a beast Evolutions 3 pack. Sign me up for $89.99 (Savage land pricing).In reality with all the beasts… Astonishing this year, 97 and in theory Kelsey Grammar rumored new year what are the odds of ANOTHER beast any time soon? I will take the re issued retro card as an absolute win.
I also completely agree that a 97 Beast would be wholly inadequate for most applications. I have considered using Retro beast on on the body but I am guessing the sculp with be softer to fit in with the other 97 figures. Don’t get me wrong ill buy two, one for the final team fighting Bastian and one for the ’92 team fighting that ne badass Apocalypse… but these will not do for my X factor or Jim Less displays. Heads on new updated bodies will likely not match color wise or have the right kind of sculpt.
I was one of those that paid nearly double for the Carol Warbird on ebay when it came out since my Target didn’t stock it and I missed the pre-order, but I don’t need a second one.
Like some others have commented, one re-issue that I think that I’d have interest in is the retro card Beast with the labcoat. I chose to skip that one at the time because I already had a very similar one that they had only been out a year or so at the time. I might be tempted by the retro card Peter Parker as well. I’d probably consider the Walgreens Fantastic Four figures, especially Thing. The only one of those that I bought was Sue with HERBIE. I’d love a second chance at the SDCC exclusive Savage Land set or a single release of Shanna. There are certainly some BAFs that I’d buy as single carded figures.

Perhaps that makes sense in regards to the Surfer Black, and sure yes Walgreens contract has expired, so it does make sense they’d go back to giving us these figures again, Moonstone and Sentry I can see up on the list, Baron Zemo maybe, but at least here in Canada none of those were hard to find but we got lucky with them being EB Games exclusives, I would certainly be pleased to see IM 2020 get a re-issue, since I slept on that, and I wish I got it after all since it’s a new character in technicality.
People might be pretty happy to see a Walgreens Punisher re-release, it was pretty good.
I mean a lot of the Walgreens figures already got silent re-releases, I.E. Quasar and Zemo
I saw a truck load of Surfer Black when it was released, and it lingered but maybe not in the US.

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that so many people decided to get her for WW customs that she became the only figure in that wave and the only SS member to sell out and shoot up to $100+ on the aftermarket but that’s the only thing I can think of. Just goes to show that if there was ever a line like Legends for DC, people would snap that up in a heartbeat. McFarlane really dropped the ball with that line.

Wow it’s a real re-issue con going on here, okay as far as re-issuing Power Princess, I get it, she’s a really great figure, that got hoarded off the market for Wonder Woman customs and commands an insane price on the aftermarket, maybe one of the highest of recent figures that I’ve seen, the demand for her back at retail was extremely high, maybe this time people who actually didn’t get a chance at her can finally, people gotta resist their hoarding for customs this time around and let people get her.
As for Warbird, it’s another one I can get, she was pretty hard to come across for a lot of people and her release was kinda botched here in Canada, a lot of people got shafted on pre-orders because for some reason a limited number made it out, not quite sure the reason behind it, but now I hope everyone who wasn’t able can grab her, it’s a gorgeous figure.

I’ve said it before there are tons of figures that really would warrant being re-issued and Surfer Black is really not one of them, I’ve heard of nobody asking about that, Yes..case in point people want Retro Beast, People really want…X-Force 3 pack (that got extremely botched distribution), How about the one I see the most pleas for a re-issue 80th Thor? , Blob? Retro Mysterio? The Super Articulated Black Widow? Maybe even the Retro Scarlet Spider, Vintage Punisher?.Retro Lizard, Retro Black Cat, Retro Rogue, Angela? Bishop,.. Symbiote Scream, If I can rattle off those, certainly…Hasbroo can do better.
