Marvel Set to Launch New Era of Daredevil Next Year in True Believer Blind Bags

Marvel has announced that the new Daredevil #1, coming next year, will be helmed by acclaimed writer Stephanie Phillips (Phoenix, Planet She-Hulk) and celebrated artist Lee Garbett (Death of Doctor Strange, Uncanny Spider-Man). Building on the legacy of legendary creators from the series’ past, Phillips and Garbett aim to give Daredevil a fresh direction fit for both new readers and longtime fans. The story will see Matt Murdock balancing his life in Hell�s Kitchen as a law professor and vigilante while a mysterious new villain known as Omen appears.

Daredevil #1 is set to be one of 2026’s most anticipated releases and will be the second Marvel comic featured in a True Believer Blind Bag, following Ultimate Endgame #1 next month. The Blind Bag initiative allows fans to buy special sealed bags containing any of the issue�s covers, including exclusive variants and ultra-rare, hand-drawn sketch covers by surprise artists.
