All families should remove Pip-Cubes sets from their kids’ toy boxes. CreateOn and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission are recalling its Crayola-branded Pip-Cubes as they pose a high risk of serious injury or death.

CreateOn is recalling both the bold and glitter variants of its Crayola-branded Pip-Cubes, specifically the 24- and 27-count sets. The Bold Color sets feature red, green, blue, and yellow cubes, while the Glitter version has purple, pink, blue, and green blocks with glitter on them.

The Pip-Cubes building blocks contain magnets that can loosen if the seams separate, creating a potential ingestion hazard. If these high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract to each other as well as other metal objects, ultimately lodging themselves within the digestive system. This risk can result in perforations, twisting, and blockage of the intestines, with possible results of blood poisoning and death.

Consumers should immediately remove these Pip-Cubes sets from their households. Interested parties can also contact CreateOn at 800-333-0549 or visit createon.com/recall to return the recalled cubes and receive a replacement.
