We could at least get a new one,but yeah articulation of some minor sort would be nice. At least a flying one and one that actually cling to her shoulder. Like this owl we got with Owl or the Ravens with Odin and Thor, they don’t actually stay anywhere. They could make the feet clip on somehow. Look at the Joe animals compared to the Redwing they teased.
It does make me wonder just how tiny they could get with articulation? I think Man Wolf’s Jaw is about the smallest ‘movable’ part i’ve seen recently where his jaw articulates?I wonder what kind of process is involved and how much more difficult it is to design something to articulate at that size?Mety Toys does some unlicensed WoW figures. And the Necromancer they did came with an Imp which has some small arm joints (bit like Doop Actually).

Even tho I made a comic accurate Abomination using Gamerverse Abomination BAF body with the Select Abomination head sculpt..& painted the claws on hands & feet white & pants light blue….as a lifelong Incredible Hulk fan..I’m still picking up Deluxe Abomination for the head sculpts…I’m also picking up Grizzly..& possibly a 2nd Grizzly down the line to make an Ursa Major for my Winter Guard… I’ll probably also get Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider.. but I’m not sure about Colossus Kitty Pryde 2 Pack..I’m not building the Astonishing X Men team.. altho I did pick up Astonishing Beast..who is now in my Made To Order X Men 97 Sentinel’s hand right now.. who am I kidding..I’m picking up the Colossus Kitty Pryde 2 Pack as well
My only must buy is Deadpool, I’ve been wanting Dogpool since they revealed her and all the accessories are sweet. Helps that I never got the new one so it’s a completely new figure for me, and a much better deal too IMHO.
I’m a bit tempted by Grizzly and Abomination… but. probably not enough. I’m still holding out for an MCU Abomination

You’re dead on about the bike. A bit of red-paint variance, some shading, a hint of “metallic” look here and there, and that thing would’ve been sweet. And no it wouldn’t have been too much money or taken that much more effort. What they have isn’t awful, its just that it could have been so much more than what it is. Ditto for Ghost Rider himself.
Oh by the way what I said about being faithful to some of the comic art, bear in mind most of those were covers, and the artists were being sloppy clearly weren’t consistent on exactly how GR should have been rendered. Sometimes his jacket had looser sleeves, sometimes it was skin tight, sometimes the gloves ended in a little rolled cuff at the wrist, sometimes they were flared down the forearm, like Captain America’s gloves, etc. In other words they got it wrong. Not something that should’ve been repeated in action figure form.
Also you are right about Abomination not having fists. Wha…..???
Yeah, I am sure there were probably instances where there wasn’t a clear direction, and probably by the time they got ready for that particular issue to run? It was probably too far along to go back and change, if it was even noticed at all? That’s before any kind of discussion as to a particular style an artist brought to the table. Maybe it’s like the story of Power girl where the artist continued to draw her bust increasingly larger because he felt there was a lack of editorial oversight. He continued to do so until they finally noticed.

According to the popular legend, artist and inker Wally Wood was convinced that DC Comics editors were not paying close attention to his work on All-Star Comics in the mid-1970s. To test this theory, he decided to gradually draw Power Girl’s breasts slightly larger in each subsequent issue
No wonder the sales kept going up. Lmao.We have had other versions before…
This is a Johnny Blaze with a bike. They are clearly going for a more ‘vintage’ comic look with this release.
This was the Kenner version. Listed for $60 on Ebay.
Like there is just something about the red I feel hasn’t translated as well as it could have. The spokes of the tires/wheels being red just kind of make it look a bit like a hunk of red plastic. The flame effects look great. And while they are clearly pulling from a 70’s era GR? Even that art shows the spokes a lighter red. I dunno I just feel like some artistic license here would have been appropriate. Heck if they made the spokes normal but made the tire red with a gradient? Sort of like that Ultimate one above? I think it would have looked better. Some metallic treatment as well on the fuel tank, front fork, etc. Would have made it pop a bit. They like reuse why not just reuse the Ultimate Ghost Rider Tires?I imagine a customizer would have a field day with the bike.

Yeah, I think I may pass on Grizzly and may ultimately pass on Ghost Rider as well. Space is becoming more of a concern and I am kind of happy with my retro card Ghost Rider. I just wish the bike itself had a bit more going on than just red. I get it, but I would have liked a more varied color scheme just to make it more visually interesting. And seeing some covers, yeah it’s clear it is faithful to some of the art. If I see it at a decent price on sale? I may pick it up.Abomination? I’ll likely get to have a Hulk baddie, but he should have some punching hands. The one of these I’m keen to pick up is Colossus and Kitty Pride.

Love the Ghost Rider set, but why does he have white gloves? I didn’t remember him having white gloves, so I Googled pics and couldn’t find even one with white gloves. Weird!
Sometimes they gave him very light blue gloves on the cover. I think the colorists and artists were confused as to whether or not he had gloves on because in a number of those Ghost Rider comics, his hands are the same color as his skull (which was either white or very light blue). Sometimes the boots were colored darker than the rest of his clothes, but not like this. The artists were inconsistent with GR’s outfit though.
