Two upcoming Godzilla releases have been announced by Tamashii Nations. The first is a Godzilla figure based on the design from Godzilla: The Ride. The second is a Godzilla Creature Set from Shin Godzilla.
The S.H. MonsterArts – Godzilla from Godzilla: The Ride stands at 6.3″ tall. It’s developed using 3D data from the short film that accompanies the ride. It includes two “Goose” mini vehicles along with a stand to display them. Pre-Orders open on February 2, with a release scheduled for July. This will be a general retail release, and the product page is now live. It’s priced at ¥14,850 (about $96 USD).
The Godzilla 2nd Form, 3rd Form, and Giant Unknown Creature Set includes three forms of the Godzilla. These versions are based on the various phases of the Godzilla seen in Shin Godzilla. The Godzilla 2nd Form stands just under 2″ tall, the Godzilla 3rd Form stands at 5.1″ tall, and the Unknown Creature stands at 6.3″ tall. This set is a Premium Bandai Web Exclusive. The set goes up for pre-order today, with a release set for August. It’s priced at ¥15,400 (about $99 USD).
