The cost savings on archangel is so sad. I was really wanting and looking forward to an upgrade. No horsemen of death head update, that was the most gorgeous part of the Marvel select, they claimed the modified wings are to match the show, sure, but it also limits plastic on their part. And most disappointing of all where are those awesome fliechette effects you already have tooled?

At last….the Falcon! Looking GREAT….don’t think they increased his height, but they have the yellow “beak” on the mask just perfect, even gave him points on his boots instead of just painting them on. Not to mention that bottom cuff “fringe” along with the raised “talons” on the vamp. Also gave him his original short wings. WILD!!

I was waiting for you to comment! Figured you’d be pretty happy with this!

Im glad the Absorbing Man is the “normal” size he was in Secret Wars. One thing they absolutely got wrong with the previous Creel and the Wrecking Crew was their out of scale size. I know artistic interpretation and all, but they were toooo big. Same with their BAF SandMan.

Maximum Thor is very nice. Glad to see he isn’t Maximum hands like the previous Max figures. Throg is the highlight for me lol. This makes sense as opposed to Doop on the Deadpool Max figure. I get it was an homage to the Toybiz version, but in no way did that booger monster make DP and more “Max”. Throg is at least… a version of Thor.

Secret Wars DD is absolutely stunning. THIS is an homage done right. I have every DD figure Hasbro has done so far but Im grabbing this guy too.

The rest of the Secret Wars wave is a mixed bag.

I kinda love that only Absorbing Man and Spidey were in the comic series, with the rest being Mattel figures homage plus ?!Magik?!? BUT Volcana better get a figure before they call it quits on this line.. there really is no better subline to slip her into.

The Crossing 2 pack (hey, solo series Quicksilver!) is welcome but odd. Wasn’t this rumored to be a 4 pack? Regardless, the suits the Avengers wore for this storyline were some of the worst ever. They feel very “alternate universe” .. and I can’t see them doing many of the other suits, right? I guess Wanda’s wasn’t THAT bad, but unless we end up with that version of Giant-Man, I dont care to complete the Crossing team.

So… put a wired cape on my 2011 Thor, and I’m good. literally the same figure (sure, pinless, 3 faces blah blah blah) How are they going to give us THREE Mjolnir options but NO SPINNING EFFECT???

Another Maximum dud in my opinion.

the rest look good. im not hyped for the secret wars stuff but thats a really great looking DD. i just got a good deal on the last deluxe Archangel so i can skip this one. both 2 packs are not quite definitive versions of the characters (Muse is the exception), but im sure somebody will appreciate those versions.

so really, the only 2 i would buy from this whole stream are DD and maybe Onslaught IF i can find him…

I will get DD, undecided on anything else. I like them all just not sure if I really need them. Classic Falcon is a most likely.

Just.Wow!

Banger SW wave! Glad they listened to me (lol) and gave DD the OG Mattel deco.

FINALLY a classic Falcon! So good!

More fabric capes,please!
