McFarlane Toys have acquired the rights to Sony Interactive Entertainment properties in order to produce 7 inch collectible figures. Helldivers and God of War are first up, with the ability to do additional figures based on other Playstation games like The Last of Us, Uncharted, Twisted Metal, Ghost of Yotei/Tsushima, Horizon and Bloodborne. Initial mention were under the McFarlane Gaming and Elite sub lines, so hopefully we can get some great 7 inch figures for these properties that desperately need some. Personally I’m down for GoW, Ghost of(s), and Horizon, here’s hoping they rock it. Check the official press release below.
McFarlane Toys announces Helldivers 2 and God of War Collectibles officially licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment
February 13th, 2026 – Tempe, AZ – McFarlane Toys, a leader in the collectibles category, proudly announces a new collection of action figures officially licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, featuring characters from some of the most popular PlayStation video game franchises: Helldivers 2 and God of War.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the upcoming 7” scale action figures based on Helldivers 2 are designed to captivate fans and collectors alike. Boasting ultra-articulation, these figures capture the essence of these iconic PlayStation video game characters, allowing fans to immerse themselves in dynamic play experiences. The Helldivers 2 collection will include Super Earth soldier action figures with the following armor sets: B-01 Tactical, CE-35 Trench Engineer, SA-04 Combat Technician, and TR-40 Gold Eagle.
Helldivers 2 and God of War will be part of the McFarlane Elite Edition and McFarlane Gaming Edition lines, in addition to the highly detailed sculpts, paint and articulation, these incredible action figures will also include an assortment of accessories for maximum play and posing options.
The Helldivers 2 action figures are scheduled for release in Spring 2026, with God of War following in Summer 2026. Products will be available for purchase online and at select retailers, with pre-order details shared closer to release. More details to follow on the incredible lineup planned for God of War!
