The LEGO Group is celebrating MAR10 Day (Mario Day) with a peek at an upcoming LEGO Super Mario set — and it features everyone’s favorite man in the green hat!
The new 2,234-piece LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart – Luigi & Mach 8 Set features a posable Luigi figure with functional steering and a spinning flame exhaust. While the set isn’t available until April 1, builders can start preparing space in their playroom now.
Families can help Luigi show off his tricks with the set’s display stand, which is capable of showcasing mid-drift angles, or they can take this LEGO figure off-road by rolling the LEGO build off the stand.
Young racers will need to team up with adults to build this LEGO set, as it’s designed for builders ages 18 and up. While the set is now available to preorder for $179.99, Luigi officially takes off on April 1 at LEGO.com, at LEGO Stores, and on the LEGO Insiders app.
