Just when you think every Jurassic Park toy has already been made, The LEGO Group finds a way to keep the fun fresh with a new building kit.
Inspired by the iconic scene in Spielberg’s 1993 film, this 1,924-piece model set recreates the vehicle Nedry crashes while attempting to escape with stolen dinosaur DNA, leading to his untimely fate in the jaws of a dilophosaurus. Although the listing isn’t live yet, The LEGO Group launched a teaser trailer on Instagram, giving families a first look at the new build.
The LEGO Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler features rubber tires, a fabric soft-top roof, working doors with the Jurassic Park logo, and the tow cable on the front that Nedry uses in the film. Rounding out the dino-mite display is a LEGO recreation of the East Dock sign, the very sign Nedry collides with that traps him in the paddock.
The Jeep Wrangler set is for builders ages 18 and up, but little Jurassic World fans can join the ferocious fun with a new Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull set. Intended for fans ages 9 and older, this kit includes everything kids need to build the skull, a display stand, an information plaque, and even dig site tools. Whether you’re imagining new adventures or brushing up on your history, this set is perfect for prehistoric playtime.
More details about the LEGO Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler set, including release date and price, will be available soon. For the latest updates about the launch, visit lego.com.
