The votes are in! The Baby Safety Alliance unveiled its 2025 Awards of Excellence, which features a collection of safe, smart, and trusted baby and toddler products.
Chosen by safety experts, journalists, retailers, and fellow families, this list honors the best of the best in the baby business. Each year, the panel evaluates breakout products based on their design, functionality, innovation, and ability to meet the needs of growing families. The winners span 12 different categories, ranging from infant care and toys to high-tech gear.
The overall Best in Show winner is Evenflo’s Revolve180 LiteMax NXT car seat. Not only does this swiveling seat excel in child car safety, but it also features adjustable lighting, music, and sounds to help soothe fussy infants as they ride. Its sister product, the Shyft Intuiti+ Travel System, which pairs the innovative car seat with an all-terrain stroller, won in the Design/Fashion/Style category. Other travel favorites include the Top Stroller, WonderFold’s L4 Quad Stroller Wagon; the Top Child Restraint System, Chicco’s Fit360 Zip ClearTex Rotating Convertible Car Seat; and the On the Go Winner, the Safety First Turn and Go 360-degree Rotating Modular Travel System.
Parents can upgrade their nurseries with the award-winning Storkcraft’s Casablanca 5-in-1 Convertible Storage Crib, or Motorola’s PIP1710 CONNECT, the top pick for Safety. This AI-infused monitor system analyzes babies’ cries against its global database to help parents determine the potential causes behind the tears, such as sleepiness, hunger, burping, or mood changes. Another new tech marvel is the Charlie’s House Virtual Safety Experience. Named the Most Innovative product of the year, this app scans families’ homes to help identify, describe, and address potential safety concerns before their bundle of joy comes home.

When it comes to health and lifestyle products, Munchkin takes the cake. Its Silicone Glass Bottles won the award for Feeding/Bathing/Changing, while its Flow Nipple Shield + ranked at the top of Infant/Parent Care products.

Finally, Mattel’s Fisher-Price 3-in-1 Kick & Sway Activity Gym took home the award for Play/Entertainment, as well as the family-voted Parents’ Pick. Launching in 2026, this playset features three distinct play modes, each tailored to a specific stage of the baby’s development. They can lie back and kick at the jingling overhead mobile, or enjoy Tummy Time with a crinkle mat, self-discovery mirror, and other sensory activities. As they age, little ones can sit up and bat at the mobile, squeeze the crinkly toys, and discover cause-and-effect and motor skills along the way.
