Evans portrayed Steve Rogers in many Marvel films starting with 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and last appearing in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. In that final film an aged Steve passed his shield to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), after going back in time to reunite with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Evans did recently make a reappearance in the MCU In 2024�s Deadpool & Wolverine. But Evans was not playing Cap but instead the Human Torch, a role he first played in Fox�s 2005 Fantastic Four film.
This is reportedly one of multiple teasers set to be released in the coming weeks, with other clips focusing on different characters, according to Variety.
