I still would love for Legends to do a line, like Star Wars did, and give us “evolution” 2-5 packs. 1st app, current look, and a few iconic looks in between. Beast would be my number one if they ever actually did this. But a Mandarin, Loki, Iceman, Wasp, ya know the list goes on for the characters who’ve changed through the yrs. And of course they could jam the line full of Iron Men and Spideys and Caps. Hell I’d get the cap since they’ve neglected that 1st app look for so long.

I always say this and many agree with me. There is no such thing as “Who asked for this” when it comes action figures. YOU (in general not just you) may not have asked for it but other have.
You are literally the only person I have ever seen ask for this Mandarin. I’m not saying others haven’t, but in the almost 20 years that Hasbro have had the license, I’ve only ever seen people (myself included) ask for Original Mandarin and Animated series Mandarin

Thanks dude, and agreed! I forgot he was biracial though actually, but you’re right; the figure’s facial features should resemble the way they’ve been drawn! Ooof, sculptor-dude was ofF his game on this one!

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. Regarding his features, yeah I see it a teeny bit more now in the picture where he’s doing the classic villain power-hand pose, but not the others. The old man face doesn’t have East-Asian features at all, and the artist who did the card art needs to go back and study facial anatomy, but, there it is. I’ll hold out for a 90s version with the green robes as that was his defining look for me.
Giving Iron Man reverse ab crunch when armor’s design literally accommodates ball joint waist is insane, even more insane is that they just did Wolverine with waist and torso ball joint, what I’m curious is how is the red color in hand, if they manage to get to Modular armor shine I might consider, aside from this weird articulation decision it’s a nifty update, even if it was too soon. This modern-ish Mandarin looks solid but I’m still hoping and waiting for 90s animated style one.
