Masters of the Universe Movie Promo Package – Core and Chronicles

Masters of the Universe is set to return to theaters this coming June 5th, with an all new live action movie directed by Travis Knight (Transformers: Bumblebee) showing the epic adventures in Eternia. Mattel is producing new figures specifically for the movie, in all new scales not seen in modern MOTU He-Man toys. The Chronicle line is advertised 1/12 scale or 6.5 inch, significantly smaller than normal 7 inch scale Masterverse figures. But they keep all the articulation you’d expect from the more adult-y line. The Core line is similar to Origins using similar technology, listed at 5.5 inch but run a tad smaller in sculpt bulk and are missing some articulation points seen in Origins. Both feature real-world sculpting, trying to capture the look and feel of the actors in the movie.
