Mattel may not be the favorite toy company of every Halo fan out there, but there’s absolutely no denying that they’ve made collecting Halo toys more interesting right now than it has been in years! And not only have the Halo Mega Bloks Summer 2016 sets just been restocked online, but the previously-released sets have company in the form of a new pair of sets: the Halo Wars 2 Cyclops sets are now available for order!
When the two new versions of the UNSC Cyclops that were revealed during the winter didn’t turn up for sale early with the rest of the known 2016 Summer Halo Mega Bloks sets, some collectors feared that the new Cyclopses had been cancelled or delayed until the fall.
But nope–it turns out that these mechs just wanted to make a fashionably late appearance, as they’ve now arrived at some online retailers and are ready to be deployed into collectors’ homes!
First up, we’ve got the more traditional-looking, green version of the mech: the Strike Cyclops Mega Bloks set (with generic UNSC Marine figure).

The other new addition to the long-running armada of UNSC Exo-Suits is a little less traditional than the Strike iteration, but also more eye-grabbing and visually interesting: the red-and-black Incinerator Cyclops (with Flame Marine figure)!

The Halo Wars 2 Mega Bloks Strike Cyclops and Incinerator Cyclops are now up for order, and are in-stock and ready to be shipped out as of writing. I went ahead and ordered both sets to build and review in the near-future, but I’m about to have a huge backlog of Halo toys needing reviews, so it may take me a while to get to these.
