It’s an interesting wave, with a cool BAF! The lack of accessories (no fists or closed mouth head?) For Werewolf By Night is irritating though. It’s nice see the Inhumans core members Almost done (still need Maximus!), but the lack of a “charged” fork on the screaming head for Blackbolt is strange! We Need a Kurse figure though, either as a BAF or in some pricy deluxe two-pack, maybe with a Simonson-Armored Thor!

I just will say, I just saw Voodo in Amazon, another unnnessesary update, in less than 15 bucks … so for me this will be the type of BAF that will take me a year to complete between wait for crazy sales and buy loose pieces.
Solid wave for me was Nemesis, I wanted 5 of the figures and was able to find the sixth easily.

As for the Thor and supporting cast issue, not really a head scratcher. It’s the tooling. Most of Thor’s cast will require extensive new tooling due to their stature, costumes, capes, helmets, weapons, powers, etc. Hasbro being Hasbro won’t give us much that can’t be reused. So here we are, calling out for Asgardians and getting crickets.
Solid NYCC. Definitely stoked for Executioner, but then again, everyone is. The wave itself, kind of weak, but Enchantress, Werewolf by Night, and Phantom Rider all check the right box, so at least half the wave works for me. Dark Avengers Spidey 2.0? Yeah I can justify that for the Spidey collection too. Warbow is one where the fact that he’s green and translucent can sell me on him when I couldn’t care less about the character. So yeah, it’s just that really bad looking Iron Man, that I’ll bet is built on a MCU sculpt. Yes it’s a modern(ish) armor, I think I saw it in the Blood Hunt story arc, but c’mon, how about a Bleeding Edge Armor update? Now that I could have gotten behind. Just glad WWII Logan didn’t have a piece as well.
Inhumans 2 packs? Sign me up, better Black Bolt, Triton, and Gorgon all check the right boxes. Medusa…yeah that costume isn’t the one, but that’s one Maximus from a complete Royal Family, so, here’s hoping he gets out soon too.
I was expecting the BaF to be Phantom Rider’s horse, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was revealed as Skrurge. A friend of mine really only wants the Warbow and that’s the only figure I don’t want, so I get his BaF piece! Honestly only getting the Logan figure in case there’s more WWII figures they decide to do. All the others are great, though admittedly this will be the third Enchantress I will own
Note that theMarvel Legends Inhumans Black Bolt & Marvel’s Triton 2-Packwill be going up for pre-order this coming week on the 16th. While in the panel they said the 16th, in the press release info they sent out afterwards they had listed both 2-packs going up on the 21st which was an error. The Gorgon one goes up on the 21st.
