Nintendo highlights new Switch 2 releases, preorders, and Kirby Air Riders demo

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is available on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players the chance to experience the full conflict that preceded The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game explores the ancient war against the Demon King, featuring playable characters such as Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and others, along with mechanics like Sync Strikes and Zonai device abilities.

Preorders are open for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, a new turn-based RPG set in the Monster Hunter universe, launching March 13. The story follows two heirs from warring kingdoms who venture into forbidden territory after a mysterious monster tied to calamity appears. Preorders are also live for Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 on Nintendo Switch 2, both arriving Nov. 13. Players who already own Yakuza Kiwami on Nintendo Switch can upgrade to the Switch 2 version at a discount.

Nintendo Switch Online members can download a free demo for Kirby Air Riders and participate in timed online test sessions on the weekends of Nov. 8-9 and Nov. 15-16. The demo includes basic tutorials, City Trial online play, and offline Air Ride matches.

In Nintendo Music, the Animal Crossing: New Leaf soundtrack has been added, including themed playlists and hourly town themes for ambient listening. Additional new games, indie releases, and ongoing Nintendo eShop deals are also live across Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag Party is available for the Nintendo Switch, offering a fast-paced, family-friendly twist on classic tag with Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and more than 30 other Sanrio characters. Published by Nighthawk Interactive and developed by Imagineer, the game features team-based magical tag matches, more than 70 solo missions, character leveling with evolving abilities, and a dress-up system for unlocking outfits and new characters. Players can jump in solo or enjoy local and split-screen co-op, with both physical and digital editions available for purchase.
