WHAT IT IS
With Mattel’s Liar’s UNO, lying isn’t cheating, it’s a part of the game! In this edition of UNO, 2-6 players ages 7 and up compete to see who is telling the truth and who is bluffing. Each regular numbered card in the Liar’s UNO deck has a matching Liar Card, identified by its black primary colorway. A Liar Card is played face down, and the player who draws it must confidently announce its number. If that player is caught lying, they draw another card. But if the accused player was telling the truth, the accuser must draw a card instead. Players deceive their way toward victory, but one timeless rule remains true: When a player has one card left in hand, they must yell “UNO!”
