Class is in session, and construction is on the curriculum. The LEGO Group just launched a new line of LEGO Education sets that inspire kids to delve deeper into STEM — no textbook required.
The collection includes four new building kits based on topics and concepts kids naturally gravitate toward, such as outer space, animals, and nature. Each set employs The LEGO Group’s “Build, Solve, Invent” approach, encouraging kids to explore, experiment, and apply their discoveries to build new ideas. Whether blasting off to the Moon or playing with penguins, every set inspires kids to tackle new challenges with creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
Kids can launch into learning with the Moon Mission Science Kit. This 519-piece playset features a spaceship, a rocket launchpad, two astronaut minifigures, and a variety of other-worldly environments. As kids explore, they can find and interact with hidden details, such as the greenhouse’s canopy, which slides open and dispenses piles of tiles.
Older astronauts can orbit the Mars Mission Science Kit, a 933-piece set with four physical experiments to unlock. Discover the physics of g-force with a spinning simulator, test gravity with the meteor catapult, or toy with cause and effect using the drop tower. Kids can also learn more about the Mars Rover with a miniature model, complete with an opening cockpit and a kicker to move rocks and meteors.
If your little one is a nature lover, they’ll have a whale of a time with the Antarctic Animals Science Kit. Featuring 461 pieces, this kit creates an articulated whale figure that feeds on floating krill, as well as an icy slope for penguins and scientists to slide down.
With the Arctic Animals Science Kit, kids can explore the differences between the snowy regions. Instead of penguins and whales, this environment features a floating walrus, a polar bear and its cub, and reindeer with interchangeable pelts. Kids can build their base camp, complete with an interactive roof hatch, and watch as winter melts into spring and the animals emerge from hibernation. This set is intended for kids ages 9 and up and includes 1,134 pieces.
All four new LEGO Education sets are available now exclusively online and in LEGO Stores worldwide. For more information about the collection, visit lego.com/legoeducation.
