Well now Hasbro’s Dan Yun has stated on social media we will in fact be getting not one, but two Marvel Legends pre-orders this week. Of course he didn’t give any other details, but we have our suspicions of what it is and when it will go up for pre-order.
Tomorrow on Disney+ at 9pm ET is the premier of the Punisher: One Last Kill special. Looking at the Entertainment Earth Pre-Order Drop Zone page we noticed a Hasbro pre-order going up tomorrow night at 10pm PT, Midnight ET. This would be after the Punisher special has premiered which is the only reason we can think of for having such a late night pre-order.
We also have that MCU Punisher listing that was originally associated with other Spider-Man: Brand New Day Spider-Man and Hulk figures that went up for pre-order the other week. While it seemed like that figure was MCU related, we had mentioned last month we weren’t sure it was actually related to the New Day movie even though Punisher will be in that movie.
Since a scruffy bearded Punisher from the upcoming special looks less like the recent Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Punisher figure we just got last year, it makes sense to me that is the version they would base a new figure on as opposed to how he looks in the New Day movie which again is very similar to how he looked in Daredevil: Born Again.
This of course is all just speculation on our part at this time. All we know for sure is we are getting 2 Marvel Legends pre-orders and one of those is for that Rivals 2-Pack which is definitely going up on Wednesday. When we have more details on the second pre-order for this week, we will be sure to update you here.
