Hasbro Marvel Legends Fanstream For May 18th – Expectations And Speculations

Hasbro Marvel Legends Fanstream For May 18th – Expectations And Speculations
The other day we told you how Hasbro’s Dan Yun made a social media posts about setting expectations for this coming Monday’s (5/18 At 11am ET) Hasbro Marvel Legends Fanstream where he told us the following:

Setting of expectations: might be one of our shortest fan streams. Focus will majority be on SDCC exclusives. So do not expect a lot of reveals. But maybe another green figure? Dwight is locked in Steves basement but hes definitely still with Legends so dont worry ✌️

Now previously Dan told us that we would be seeing two Marvel Legends San Diego Comic Con exclusives offered this year by Hasbro that would “Sort” of share a similar theme.

We still have no idea what those will be but we should definitely be finding out on Monday.

As for the other things Dan seems to be alluding to in his expectations post, well we have some non-confirmed good ol’ fashion speculation we wanted to share with you.

He mentions another green figure. This will almost definitely be the new “Hulk” themed figure they are doing this year and more specifically I feel chances are high it will be a Hulk 2099 figure.

Besides that I think we may also see revealed the “Rumored” Future Foundation 2-packs that are said to include Mister Fantastic/Invisible Woman and Thing/Spider-Man.

At least one other item I think we might see revealed on Monday is a new Miles Morales Spider-Man Role-Play Mask.

We will likely see Marvel Legends pre-orders continue to take place on Wednesday’s and I think these could be the pre-orders to finish out the month of May and take us into the first week of June.

By that point perhaps Steve Evans will have let Dwight out oh his basement and we will get one more Fanstream that will take us to San Diego Comic Con which takes place July 22-26.

Also note we know the next Target Geek-Out event will be taking place in June and that Marvel Legends Deluxe Onslaught will go up for pre-order on Friday June 5th. I suspect this will be a Geek-Out item which means it will go up at 9am ET.

We also now know the next Walmart Collector-Con event will be taking place the week of San Diego Comic Con and we will almost definitely be seeing Marvel Legends making a returns to that.

Check back on Monday at 11am ET for complete coverage of the Marvel Legends Fanstream and we will see how good our speculation is.

Just to frustrate all of us, here comes Mole Man!!

I’d like to see them do Mole Man justice. Also, another green-themed FF character: The Impossible Man!

If the SDCC exclusive figures turn out to be the Future Foundation, that would be a great choice. It’s a version of the Fantastic Four that most collectors probably wouldn’t consider essential.

Ideally, I’d like to see Reed, Sue, and Ben released together in a 3-pack, with Spider-Man released separately on a retro card. However, if the set ends up being two 2-packs, hopefully Hasbro finds a way to release the Spider-Man figure on its own at some point for collectors building a Spider-Verse display.

As for the loose connection between the Future Foundation and Hulk 2099, I guess the link is that one has “Future” in the name, while the other is literally from the future?

No no. The FF are standard releases.

Okay. Since I have seen it on several forums, we have it on good authority that the next Hulk figure will be 2099. but that is not all as we are also getting the Future Foundation as 2-packs with Sue and Reed plus Ben and Peter. (you have no idea how many time I wrote Johnny in that)

I think is Hulk from Capcom VS Marvel, and the other reveal may be the Sentinel … as Exclusive! Make sense, they were a hit in sales and they say are related reveals

The only Fin Fang Foom mentions I’ve heard were Haslab related. I don’t see them just repainting anything from that bygone era. They do some annoying stuff, but that would be beyond the pale I think. The figure really doesn’t hold up anymore either, imo. I honestly should just sell mine while hes worth something. As far as a Haslab of Fin, Dwight mentioned a 500 dollar price tag that would be even higher now, with all the stupidity going on. I don’t think it would be a great time for it..I know, as much as I love the character and would love a huge dragon, there is no way I could justify spending 700 dollars right now.

Hopefully it’s not a reissue of Fin Fang Foom. I can see how they would think that’s a big deal.

I mean it won’t be but why would that be a bad thing? People have been asking for either a reissue or a new Larger version of the character for years.

Highly doubtful that “another green figure” will mean Harpy…she’d be a BAF most likely, but then again they didn’t say it wouldn’t be….still it would be great! I mean they haven’t re-used the Angel’s wings and its really odd that they haven’t….this would be a good usage….
