Oh yes that’s exactly it, I looked at the original 80’s figure, indeed this is replicating that figure, even with the boot deco, good catch there!.

I can’t wait to see this figure released in an official darker maroon-red repaint, perhaps as a two-pack with Elektra on a modified Psylocke body, though Elektra on her own would also sell perfectly well.
Its interesting how often they will reuse this DD body mold in the future. At this point, we have at least three new highly articulated, pinless male bodies: a larger medium build with Punisher, a smaller, skinnier medium build with Maximum Spidey, and a new true middle-ground body with this Daredevil release. We could even see a fourth if they modify the forearms on the recent Spider-Man 2099 figure which would be highly superior to RYV. While it seems likely theyll continue using the Vulcan body for characters like Constrictor, theres no real reason to reuse Sunfire anymore, unless its a clever reuse similar to what they did with Starfox.
