Since Comic-Con we saw several new Marvel Legends waves go up for pre-order including the second wave of X-Men 97 figures and the first wave of Magic: The Gathering Wave 1 figures. These are available at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.
As for Marvel Legends August pre-orders we know several X-Men 97 2-packs will be going up at HasbroPulse. This includes the Marvel Legends Pulse Exclusive X-Men 97 Gambit And Rogue 2-Pack (8/14), Marvel Legends Pule Exclusive X-Men 97 Wolverine And Storm (8/20) and Marvel Legends Pulse Exclusive X-Men 97 Cyclops And Jean Grey. A date wasn’t given yet for that one but likely will go up in the last week of August.
On August 26 you can expect the Deadpool And Wolverine Premium Roleplay Wolverine Mask to go up for pre-order at most online retailers.
And folks have also have until August 26 to place an order for the Made-To-Pre-Order Marvel Legends Series Marvels Mephisto with Infernal Throne on HasbroPulse. That will ship by July 1, 2026.
We also have a couple of Target exclusives coming including the X-Men Retro Cardback Mystique and Storm figures. Those likely will be going up in sometime September.
During Hasbro’s Comic Con panel they also announced several additional figures but gave no release details. This includes the comic based Starfox and Champion Of The Universe 2-Pack, Emperor Doom, Excalibur Rachel Summers (Dark Phoenix) and X-Force Feral. The last two will be essential for completing teams Hasbro has been building for several years now.
The showed a Doop figure which based on rumors I have seen will likely be an accessory for the third Marvel Maximum Series figure which will be of Deadpool.
They also revealed comic versions of World War II Logan and the second figure from the Crystar Universe, Warbow. Again Hasbro did not give any release details but based on a rumor from Alex Chen posted back in may on Instagram, these two might be part of a Build-A-Figure wave that includes the following:
– Comic Based Iron Man Mark 72 Armor
– World War II Era Logan
– Phantom Rider
– Dark Avengers Spider-Man
– Werewolf By Night
– Enchantress
– Crystar Warbow
He had no information about the actual Build-A-Figure, but of Phantom Rider is in fact part of the wave then a Build-A-Figure of his horse Banshee makes the most logical sense.
While we are on the subject of RUMORS and Alex Chen. Around the same time he also suggested we would see several deluxe and 2-packs figures released.
– X-Men Colossus and Kitty Pryde 2-Pack
– X-Men Deluxe Onslaught
– X-Men Deluxe Nimrod
– X-Men Deluxe Lizard
These are all figures we have gotten before so it’s not clear how these new ones will differ from previous versios.
He also suggested we will be seeing several new Hulk themed figures released.
– Smart Hulk
– Red She-Hulk
– Cosmic/Cyborg Hulk
– Abomination
Now Alex isn’t the only one with new rumors. Displaying Model Behavior has also come up with a new list of rumors on his YouTube channel. Below is a breakdown of those as well as some older rumors he has put out there that have yet to be confirmed. Note in his new video he has some rumors for upcoming Marvel movies including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday. We are leaving those out of this list due to the spoiler nature of them.
So first some of the older rumors we have reported on before but not yet been confirmed or denied.
Secret Wars Wave 2 Cardback Figures
– Constrictor
– Falcon
– Daredevil
– Spider-Man (Unknown what kind)
– Absorbing Man
– Unknown 6th figure
Deadpool And Wolverin Movie Wave 2

– Jean grey
– Rogue (green outfit)
– Havok
– Polaris
– X-Men 97 Deluxe Beast
Maximum Series
– Thor
– Symbiote Spider-Man
Note, as I mentioned before the third figure in this line should be Deadpool. Also Hasbro seemed to possibly hinting to a Maximum Magneto in their Comic-Con interview so I gess we will see on those.
Another Hulk themed figure is mentioned with Doc Samson.
Another wave of Magic The Gathering Marvel Legends figures. We know they plan on doing other Marvel themed Magic card sets after Spider-Man.
– Captain America
– Doom 2099
– Malice (Sue Storm)
– Black Panther
– Holiday Themed Christmas Spider-Man Figure
Hasbro has done holiday themed figures for several years now with their Star Wars line but this would be the first Marvel one if true.
Except for Maximum Deadpool, I personally have not yet seen anything to confirm any of the stuff put out their by Alex of Displaying Model Behavior. That by know way means they aren’t coming, just that I personally have no knowledge to further confirm these rumors and of course we will treat them as RUMOR until Hasbro officially confirms them.
Also other upcoming events to take note of where we will be getting new Marvel Legends reveals.
– NYCC Oct 9-12
– MCM London Oct 24-26
– Pulse-Con (Not Yet Confirmed But Usually in September)
– Hasbro 1027 (On Oct 27 – Again not yet confirmed but has happened last few years)
I am also sure Hasbro will throw in some additional Fan-Streams between now and the end of the year.
Oh and one last thing. It looks like we will be getting some Marvel Legends re-issues later this month likely on August August 12. We might see the Cable (Sabu BAF Wave), Power Princess and/or Marvel 85 Year Anniversary Wolverine. Stay-tuned for more details soon on these.

Not to beat a dead horse, but the legs on the Hellfire Club queens are so gummy that they almost always appear warped (the mold was just done by this use I guess). That set launched me back into collecting Marvel Legends in 2020, but it wasn’t great and it’s hopelessly out of date now. I really want that Emma ’97 figure to happen, even if my custom mashing Hellfire and Astonishing together isn’t a bad figure.
I agree about the Hellfire queen, if this is under the leaked figure idea. I’ve said it before, but they should re-do the box set, give others a better chance at it, put the full roster there-including Leland and Mastermind (maybe a wild card and use his original look?), and a REAL Emma, and not these tamer versions (not counting the ’97 animated version because that one was made to be a bit “understated”). I don’t expect her to be quite in the Loose Collectors’ Chaotica mode-a bit absurd for Emma- but let’s face it, she was designed to be close to that, the Byrne or Lee versions. Oh, and another candidate for a soft goods cape.

One other important thing about IF they do a Phantom Rider and IF they do his horse Banshee….he’s gonna need a soft goods cape…
They do seem to be doing more! Fingers crossed!

Agreed on the articulation front. I keep eyeing up those Mythic Legions horses. That bone one would be cool for Nightmare ( if they’d ever get around to an unimportant character like Nightmare!! jk) If they ever do a black Pegasus I’ll have to bite for Black Knight! The prices for those Legions figures are pretty steep, although Hasbros definitely trying to catch up. If they did any of Scareglows guesses I’d be happy, as Executioner is high on my list of “why the @#$% are we still waiting” characters. I think the horse would be awesome on its own but also, the mold could be used with some added wings for BK and Valkyrie.

If its a BAF, and it is indeed Banshee, lets hope it leans more towards Zabu-level articulation than that joke that was Lockjaw. At the same time I don’t know if such a BAF could compare in quality with the horses done for Mythic Legions. Not at hasbo prices.

That would be great and makes total sense. Let’s wait and cross fingers for that.

I like the Wolverine (might put him with my cap display) and Warbow is not only a new obscure character but also has to a now growing Crystar display. I hope Moltar get made. they can even use the Morg figure as the base.
As for the rest
Phantom Rider – I still think this it Kushala. She as been prominent for a while now. Either way new character
Honestly I really really hope it’s Carter Slade, and not Kushala, just my personal hopes, and with that in turn of it is Carter, the BAF can be The Horse Banshee, My goodness that would be awesome, or hey I’ll be super happy if it’s Executionar to go with Enchantress.
But what if the BAF was Moltar!!!!!!! so many possibilities.

YES they did, its the George Perez outfit and looks great so far. Now there’s absolutely nothing stopping them from doing Werewolf by Night (who I hear is on the way too).
Yes- and maybe part of a BAF wave. Wonder what the figure could be.
You have got to be frigging kidding me if true. 1 wave with the 3 most overused figures in it? Come on man, what is going on of late with Legends? Stupid pricing, weird character choices and despite the line being 25 years old almost, we still can’t go without a Wolverine, Spidey, Iron man or Cap. Ima be really miffed if the horse is the BAF

I’m actually hoping the baf is Phantom Riders horse. They’ve been doing a lot of animals lately, and he’s a little pointless without it.

Iron Man 72 – a new armor is always greatPhantom Rider – I still think this it Kushala. She as been prominent for a while now. Either way new character.Dark Avengers Spider-man – The rumors say Ai Aepic but it will probably be a MacGargan version.WBN – Well get.Enchantress – it would be nice to get an updated version of her and makes me think the BAF could be Skurge.
