THE POWER RETURNS FOR A NEW GENERATION!

  • 5.5-inch scale action figures
  • Movie-inspired design
  • Epic world-building!

Masters of the Universe (MOTU) Kids’ Core Action Figures bring Eternia’s heroes and villains into the real world with designs inspired by the live-action MOTU movie from director Travis Knight (Transformers: Bumblebee)

At 5.5-inch scale, these figures are roughly the same height as Mattel’s original MOTU figures from the 1980s, but with a more modern physique. Built for play and display, each figure features 14 points of articulation for battle poses, action stances, and dramatic (or comedic — I’m looking at you, Skeletor) showdowns.

Masters of the Universe is the prime example of a cross-generational franchise, and these action figures hit the sweet spot between kids and collectors. With a starting price around $10, they’re extremely affordable for kids, but the added articulation gives them collector appeal.

At launch, kids can collect He-Man, Teela, Skeletor, Beast Man, Skel-Knight, and Mekaneck (each sold separately), or pick up a 4-pack featuring He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, and the exclusive Goat Man. And, because He-Man needs his faithful companion, Battle Cat — complete with roaring sounds — is also available.

The depth of character roster right out of the gate is rare for a modern action figure line and provides a real opportunity for imaginative play, world-building, and storytelling.

This line is referred to as “Kids’ Core” to distinguish it from the vintage-inspired MOTU Origins movie figures and the premium collector’s range, MOTU Chronicles. See our comparison below.

The first wave of MOTU movie toys hit retail on April 25, 2026. Additional characters and vehicles will be released in the weeks and months ahead, including the Core-scale Cannon Transform Trap Jaw and Combat Ready Roboto action figures, Roton, and a He-Man and Sky Sled 2-pack. Figures are released in waves, and retail availability may vary.

Kids discovering Eternia for the first time; Old-school fans and collectors excited for the movie era; Anyone ready to raise a plastic sword and yell, “By the POWER of Grayskull!”

Until we meet again… myah!
