Bandai adds diorama flair to 'One Piece' with the new S.H. Figuarts Party Set, enhancing display possibilities.
This week in the world of collectible toys and figures, Bandai Tamashii Nations has stirred enthusiasm among ‘One Piece’ collectors with their latest S.H. Figuarts Party Set. As reported by My Shiny Toy Robots, this new set brings a fresh wave of excitement by providing diorama accessories that allow fans to replicate the lively celebrations synonymous with the Straw Hat Crew on their ship, the Going Merry.
This release specifically addresses a common critique of the S.H. Figuarts line—namely, the limited inclusion of scenario-based parts. By introducing accessories that expand display options, Bandai not only enriches the experience of collectors but also maintains engagement with the ‘One Piece’ line by tapping into fan favorite themes. Available since May 2026, this set comes in at an RRP of 5280 yen, offering a tantalizing expansion for display enthusiasts of the series.

Saga of Collectible Treasures
In the realm of classic toys, Toys from the Past shares insights into the continued appeal of the ‘Forest Families’ collection from around 1989, focusing on the Mouse and Rabbit families. Similarly, Scalextric UK slot cars like the B.R.M. model, originally released in 1964, are highlighted for their nostalgic value among vintage collectors who find joy in acquiring these pieces even if they initially weren’t part of their wishlist.
Additionally, Yoda collectors might find interest in Super Duper Toy Box’s recent review of the Kenner 2″ Retro Collection Yoda and the 4.75″ Action Collection Yoda from 1997. These figures continue to captivate with their ability to evoke childhood memories while offering an accessible entry point for those hesitant about diving into higher-priced vintage markets.
Beyond Toys: Collector Publications
For those interested in more than just the toys themselves, ‘Masters del Universo – Guía Visual de la Película’ offers a detailed examination of the ‘Masters of the Universe’ movie. This book is a significant resource for fans and collectors seeking a comprehensive look at the film’s history and its lasting impact on the toy line.
Together, these diverse offerings across various markets and media highlight both an enduring nostalgia and the dynamic strategies companies are employing to engage modern collectors, intertwining the past with present releases and multimedia expansions.
