Pre-ordering opens tomorrow for McFarlane Toys' latest Batman figures, while Funko and Hot Wheels unveil notable licensed releases.
In the world of collectibles, the end of October brings a significant highlight for Batman enthusiasts, as McFarlane Toys prepares to release a new wave of DC Multiverse figures centered around the Dark Knight himself. According to DC Collectors, pre-orders for these anticipated figures, featuring diverse Bat-themed variants such as “Batman Kryptonite” and “Batman The Long Halloween,” open tomorrow. These additions promise to cater to collectors interested in both mainstream and niche comic storylines, enhancing any Batman-focused collection.
Meanwhile, B Toys Blog reports on the latest release from Funko’s Masters of the Universe line, with the introduction of Man-At-Arms from the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie. This figure adds depth to Funko’s series, although some enthusiasts may note the absence of a balanced lineup with a lack of villains compared to heroes. The figure is noted for its high-quality detailing and distinctive design, capturing the essence of the cinematic character.
For Hot Wheels enthusiasts, B Toys Blog also discusses the resurfacing of the ‘Superman vs Batman Batplane,’ a sought-after piece traditionally appearing only in premium lines rather than the Main Line. This rarity has made it a coveted item, fetching high prices in secondary markets. Finding one on a supermarket shelf, as described, is indeed a collector’s delight.
In the realm of soft vinyl toys, Godzilla and Evangelion fans will find interest in Kaiju One’s “G” Awakening Form, a mashup of Godzilla’s G-cells and Evangelion Unit-01. Spanky Stokes details this unique RetroSofubi figure, highlighting its design that merges two iconic franchises and offers something visually striking for shelves.
Speaking of sofubi, PLANET-X and Star Ace Toys have rolled out a Ray Harryhausen-inspired collection, paying homage to the legendary stop-motion artist. As reported by Spanky Stokes, the set embraces vintage aesthetics, featuring creatures like the Kraken and Cyclops, and is available now via PLANET-X’s official shop.
Lastly, the anticipation builds for DKE Toys’ presence at DesignerCon 2026. They are set to release around 18 exclusives online before the convention even opens. According to Spanky Stokes, these exclusives will be available on November 6, with any remaining stock heading to their DesignerCon booth. This approach ensures a wide reach, allowing collectors from various locales to participate.
