Thrilljoy's consistent strategy of releasing event exclusives, including Wonder Woman and She-Ra, continues to engage collectors.
The latest bursts of releases from Thrilljoy highlight the company’s penchant for enticing collectors with popular heroes and exclusive releases. This week, DC’s Wonder Woman and She-Ra from Masters of the Universe stand as notable entries in Thrilljoy’s expansive catalog.
Thrilljoy’s Wonder Woman and She-Ra Exclusives
Thrilljoy has introduced several new offerings across their various product lines, most notably Wonder Woman and She-Ra, expanding their presence in the collectible market. As detailed by She’s Fantastic, a new Event Exclusive featuring Wonder Woman joins Thrilljoy’s PIX lineup. This signals the company’s commitment to time-tested characters in pop culture, though it seems Wonder Woman took a while to join a collection dominated by other DC favorites like Batgirl and Harley Quinn.
Meanwhile, another report from the same source details the She-Ra Princess of Power (LE 6000) Chase figure, also from Thrilljoy’s lineup. Despite the lack of big celebrations for She-Ra’s 40th anniversary in 2025, this exclusive was a surprising release, reflecting Thrilljoy’s capability to capitalize on lesser-celebrated milestones with enticing collectibles.
From PIX to PIXL
Accompanying these exclusives is the introduction of the PIXL line, a compact version of their regular releases. The Batgirl ’66 figure from this line offers a smaller scale yet maintains the allure of its predecessors. This launch indicates a strategic pivot to provide collectors with more accessible, space-conserving options while retaining the brand’s noted attention to detail and character fidelity.
Just Play’s Tiny Nightmares Expands
Elsewhere in the collectible world, the “Tiny Nightmares” line by Just Play introduces The Wolf Man, featuring its “Terrif-Eyes” gimmick, where reflective eyes display a scene involving potential victims. Action Figure Barbecue appreciates the affordable pricing and semi-transparent packaging that reduces the stress of blind-box collecting. This enriches the collectible experience for those navigating both new and nostalgic horror themes.
Dragon Ball’s Continuing S.H. Figuarts Line
In anime collectibles, Bandai Tamashii Nations has expanded their popular S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball line with new figures of iconic characters such as Goku, Gohan, Beerus, Tien, and Chauzu. According to Toyark, these additions showcase both characters from the current series and “Z Fighters” versions, providing a mix of nostalgia and fresh appeal for anime enthusiasts.
Overall, while no singular industry-shaping event has occurred, these releases showcase varying strategies from existing brands, further enriching the offerings available to collectors this season.
